1,427 AMERICAN CITIZENS WERE KILLED by Hurricane Maria. Last year Donald Trump bragged about the death toll claiming only 16 people had died, after he was told that was not a final number. He then spent the next months lying about the U.S. having no responsibility to help Puerto Ricans falsely claiming Puerto Rico had a president who should help his people instead of asking the U.S. To be clear, Donald Trump is Puerto Rico’s president because they are a U.S. territory and every Puerto Rican is an American citizen. That wasn’t ignorance, it was a way to deliberately paint the American citizens of Puerto Rico as foreigners to rile up his racist, xenophobic voters.

Trump also deliberately withheld emergency funding from Puerto Rico and hindered the recovery efforts by giving $100+ million contracts to with only 1-6 employees owned by his friends and friends of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke. Where are the Congressional investigations?!
