Last year, in an Oval Office meeting with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster to discuss sanctions on Venezuela, Donald Trump asked why the US can’t just invade the country. The next day he publicly talked about using military force to go in and remove Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro from power. In the following months Trump proceeded to discuss invading Venezuela with the president of Columbia and the UN General Assembly.
