Donald Trump commissioned a joint North Korean—Donald Trump propaganda film in the style of Hollywood movie trailer that repeatedly shows them as a partnership of happy benevolent heroes. Kim Jong Un is a murderous dictator who is the subject of a recent 400 page report on his horrific human rights abuses, including torture, murder, rape, enslavement, starvation, chemical weapons attacks on foreign soil, and worse. Donald Trump is attacking America’s allies, attacking our law enforcement agencies, rounding up immigrants, taking their children and locking the kids in dog kennel-style cages, suppressing non-Republican voters, appointing unqualified far-right religious extremists to lifetime judicial positions, creating a watchlist of journalists to destroy the free press, locking up protestors to destroy free speech, taking away healthcare from 9 million low-income kids, taking away healthcare from anyone with a pre-existing condition, taking away women’s rights to their own bodies, making policies that support more police brutality, supporting child molestors and white supremacists for Congress, using the office of President of the United States to enrich himself and his kids, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Reporters thought this video was North Korea propaganda. It came from the White House.

The film imagines Kim Jong Un as a beloved hero.

When a reporter asked if the United States had just produced North Korean propaganda, Trump cut off the question.
