Donald Trump told Congress he wants the power to selectively veto single items in legislative bills. If he any understanding of how the U.S. government works and its history, he would know that was already found to be unconstitutional by the Supreme Court because it destroyed our system of checks and balances. Despite what Trump thinks, the Judicial and Legislative branches of the U.S. government serve the American people, not his personal desires.
