NRA online ad spending increased sixfold after Parkland shooting

In the weeks following the Florida school shooting that left 17 dead and more than a dozen injured, the National Rifle Association increased its online advertising spending to more than six times its usual amount, spending $34,000 a day on Facebook ads alone.
