The Trump kleptocracy and destruction of our democracy continues as Trump’s Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke just handed out a $300 million contract to restore power to Puerto Rico to his friend’s tiny 2-person electric company in his hometown. Whitefish Energy has ZERO experience in large–scale disaster recovery and has now hired almost 300 subcontractors. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. It’s also quite possibly, illegal. The Government Accountability Office better be on this.

A tiny company from the Montana hometown of Trump Interior secretary Ryan Zinke that had just two full-time employees the day Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico has been awarded a $300 million contract to restore the island’s power.
