This is absolutely heartbreaking.

“I shared my toddler’s hospital bill on Twitter. First came supporters — then death threats.”

“I was offered a .22 bullet, although I’m still not sure who he meant it for, me or my child.”

  1. I agree that many of the comments were repugnant and vile. I also take huge issue with her decision to leverage her child’s health crisis to make a political statement. He may not want to be used as a prop in her New Jersey soap opera. She seems like a drama mama to me.

  2. Affordable healthcare should not be a political issue, it’s a people issue. It’s wrong for you to call her a drama mama, you haven’t lived in her shoes looking after a sick child. Now she’s helping other families. I think her son will be ok with that.
