President Trump’s 2018 budget has massive cuts for medical research, disease prevention, and health insurance for poor kids. Planned Parenthood – funding cut down to $0.00, National Cancer Institute – $1 billion cut, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute – $575 million cut, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – $838 million cut. Vaccines, HIV/AIDS, and other disease prevention – $500 million cut. And that’s just the beginning.
The budget is released early, and shows Trump wants big cuts to NIH, CDC and FDA.
